Aromatherapy   

Aromatherapy uses plant materials and aromatic plant oils, including essential oils, and other aromatic compounds for the purpose of altering one’s mood, psychological or physical well-being. It seeks to bring together body, mind, and spirit to enhance one’s innate healing processes. Oils can be used aromatically, topically, or internally. 

If you’re looking to complement talk therapy, aromatherapy is worth consideration. Many people use oils for calming, energizing, sleep issues, headaches, and pain and for cooking. Dr. Mary likes to call them “plant based medicine.”
